geoGAZElab

We investigate visual attention while interacting with geo information and in spatial decision situations. Eye tracking technologies are hereby utilized to understand users, predict their behavior, and assist them in their spatial activities.

We combine competences and methods from Spatial Data Science, Computer Science, and Human Computer Interaction.
Our current focus lies on the following three application areas:

  • Gaze-informed location-based services
  • Gaze-based interaction with geo information
  • Eye tracking in aviation

More about our research can be found on the external pagegeoGAZElab website.
